This site is a tribute to Michelle Kay. Dearly loved Wife of forty three years to Paul, Mum of Peter and Juliette and Robin and Kayleigh and a treasured Grandma sadly missed by all her family and friends. 

The late Michelle Ann Kay

The death of Michelle Ann Kay, aged 67 years of Marsh Lane, Ellwood occurred on 3rd January 2025.

The funeral service took place on Thursday 23rd January at All Saints Church, Newland with The Reverend Sarah Bick officiating. The organist accompanied the hymns “23rd Psalm (Crimond)” and “All things bright and beautiful”. Mr Robin Kay delivered the tribute and Ellie Jade Kay read a poem. Recorded music during time of Reflection was Violin/Piano Sonata No.5 in F Major Op 24 (Spring) Adagio Molto Expressive and Recessional music “Michelle” by The Beatles.

Following the service committal took place at The Forest of Dean Crematorium where entry music was “The Great Gates of Kiev” and Exit music “Spring” from The Four Seasons/Vivaldi.

Donations in memory of Michelle are to benefit The R.N.L.I and Great Western Air Ambulance and these are being received by Ernest Heal & Sons Funeral Directors, 5 South Road, Broadwell, Coleford, Glos, GL16 7BH.
